What is Fruitful Confusion?
Fruitful Confusion is a webcomic written and illustrated by me, Laura Kajpust. Here is a synopsis of the plot:
What do you mean "returning"?
This comic originally appeared online June 2006 and ran until October, 2008 with 2 complete chapters and 1/2 of another. It ended primarily because I wanted to focus on school, but also because I had plans to redo it and make it of higher, more professional quality. Originally, I expected to start this comic again after I graduated. However, I found I missed working on this comic, and I also feel that I'm ready to make it up to par. So, I'm coming back earlier and going to make the time to do this comic. A few things have been changed (for instance, it will now be read left-to-right instead of right-to-left), but for the most part it will be the same. I have been working on a buffer this summer to hopefully prevent missed updates at school.
When will it update?
Two pages a week - one Tuesday, and one Thursday, always at noon EST.
Can I still read the original?
Yes, it is still available to read here, on SmackJeeves.
So, when's this starting again?
September 1st at noon EST! The first chapter cover and first two pages will appear that day.
The website for promoting version 2 of FC is now, as you can see, officially up! Wooh~! Still need to tweak some things and edit custom pages, and as we approach closer the news page will be updated to handle "latest page" information and such. But this marks the beginning of things getting ready to really start!
Hope to see some old fans here September 1st...and hopefully some enthusiastic new ones! ;D
